WEDNESDAYâS OUTLOOK
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will begin in the morning and a few of these could be on the strong side with pea to nickel size hail and 40-50 mph wind gusts. In addition, locally heavy rain is possible in these storms.
A block of ice flew off the top of a U-Haul truck and damaged the windshield of a car driving behind it. The driver of the car spoke with NBC10’s Steven Fisher about the close call and urges other drivers to obey the law and clean the ice and snow off their vehicles.

The severe weather threat for these will be low, due to a lack of instability over central Missouri. Heavy rain will remain possible, but the flooding threat will be pushed south of I-44 as those locations have seen heavy rain through the day
